Interior Painting Your rooms will be vacuumed and wiped down to minimise dust and we will prepare the area by ensuring any delicate items such as furniture are well protected with fresh dust sheets. Curtains and blinds will be carefully removed and stored together with curtain rails and pictures as required. If there is a defect in the surface being painted then the outcome will be unsatisfactory and may even give problems such as poor adhesion at a later date. Mark Lundy goes to great trouble to ensure that the quality of all under surfaces is matched to the paint finish on top. This means meticulous attention to filling in any little cracks or damage marks and is especially important to get a good finish on woodwork surrounds. This takes a little extra time but makes all the difference to the end result! We have ways of covering stains from dampness (must be dry!) and may recommend an additional coat to ensure a full change to a new colour finish. Working with modern paint systems we work in an efficient but traditional approach to building up the necessary layers of sealant, undercoats and paint allows us to fully guarantee our wall finishes.
